Founder/ Director

Speech-Language Pathologist | Parent Coach 

Janaki Hari is a Speech-Language Pathologist with over a decade of experience in speech therapy, early intervention, and inclusive education for neurodivergent individuals. She has worked in private practice, schools, and training programs, helping create inclusive communication environments.

Her approach integrates oral placement therapy, social thinking strategies, and play-based techniques to support communication and cognitive development. She is certified in The Hanen Program (Canada), Level 2 Oral Placement Therapy (TalkTools, USA), and Teaching Social Thinking (Social Thinking Program, USA), along with training in play therapy (National Association of Play Therapy, India).

As a certified Parent Coach, she supports families in building meaningful connections and collaborates with schools to develop inclusive programs. Committed to evidence-based intervention, she strives to bridge the gap between therapy, education, and society, fostering inclusion with confidence and compassion.

Clinical Psychologist | Clinical Neuropsychologist

Dr. Nandita is a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychologist with over 17 years of expertise in pediatric mental health, specializing in autism and neurodevelopmental disorders. She holds a doctorate in Clinical Neuropsychology and Clinical Psychology from the University of Queensland, Australia.

Her work spans diverse settings across India and Australia, including hospitals, schools, centers of excellence, research institutions, and private practice. She is recognized for her expertise in comprehensive assessments, individualized therapy, family counselling, and training neurodivergent adults for employment. She has collaborated with corporations to develop inclusive workplaces and conducts workshops to enhance neurodiversity awareness.

With a strong interest in trauma, Dr. Nandita has pursued advanced training, including a year-long professional certification in Compassionate Inquiry with Dr. Gabor Maté (2023–2024) and Harvard’s Program in Refugee Trauma. Her approach integrates cutting-edge research with compassionate, evidence-based interventions to support individuals, families, and organizations in fostering inclusive and supportive environments.

Co- Founder/ Secretary and Treasurer

Anand Dharesan is a business leader and entrepreneur, serving as the CEO of a lighting design company while also dedicating his time to social impact. Anand has played a key role in shaping the organization’s vision and supporting its growth.

While he does not have a background in special needs, his strong belief in community service and inclusion has driven his commitment to making a meaningful difference. His business expertise, leadership skills, and dedication have been instrumental in ensuring that Erisha’s initiatives receive the support they need.

Anand’s continued support and involvement make him an integral part of the foundation’s mission to create a more inclusive and supportive community.

Co- Founder / Managing Trustee

An Angel Investor and a Consulting Manager at KPMG UK and 15 years of UK insurance industry experience, Rahul specializes in business strategy, guiding large-scale digital and financial transformation programs for insurance clients across the UK and Europe.

Beyond his corporate role, he is a hands-on parent to two lovely children, one of whom is a child with special needs - a journey that profoundly reshaped his perspective about life. This personal experience ignited his passion for advocacy and led him to co-found Erisha with Janaki and Nandita.

He wants Erisha to become an ecosystem exclusively dedicated to empowering families like his as well other stakeholders in this space. Blending strategic expertise with heartfelt commitment, he aspires to create meaningful change for children with special needs and their caregivers.
